Because Kirk's bills Medicare, Medicaid, Labor & Industries, most Medicare HMO's, and most private insurances, we can offer most of our neighbors in the South Sound area the opportunity to use our services.
Not all items prescribed by your doctor are benefits of insurances, and, for some items prescribed that are payble benefits, there is the need to meet the insurance's requirements for "medical necessity" before the insurance will consider payment. Most insurances require forms (called releases) to be signed by the insured or his/her representative before dispensing the prescribed items.
For certain items Kirk's bills "non assigned" to Medicare, Labor & Industries, and some private insurances. This means that the insured/patient pays for the item in advance, Kirk's bills the insurance company, and the insurance company will pay the insured directly.

WARRANTIES:
- All manufacturer warranties and terms are honored on "new" products and equipment.
- All used equipment is warranted for 30 days on parts and labor unless specifically noted otherwise
REPAIRS: If you should need a repair......
- Warranty Repairs:
- Our technician can do the warranty work here at Kirk's for many of the items we sell.
If your equipment cannot be brought to us, the Kirk's expert technician will go to you.
If there is a need to send your equipment to the manufacturer a "loaner" will be supplied at no cost to you.
- Non-Warranty Repairs:
- Many repairs can be done "while you wait" by our skilled technician.
If your repair requires the ordering of parts from the manufacturer, a loaner will be supplied at no cost to you.
If your equipment cannot be brought to us, the Kirk's technician will make a service call for a small additional fee.

RETURNS/REFUNDS:
For your protection and the protection of others:
- ALL returns for refund MUST have the original receipt
Refunds and exchanges MUST be requested within 15 days of purchase/delivery.
Defective product will be replaced or refunded according to the manufacturer's warranty, with proof of purchase from Kirk's.
Soft goods (braces, stockings, items worn against the skin) are not returnable for refund or exchange unless defective according to the manufacturer's warranty.
Certain items require a signed "return agreement" before dispensing for your own protection.
Items billed to and insurance are NOT returnable nor refundable unless there is a manufacturer's defect.
